MONDAY
Woodlands Park: We are going to make sure you have a day full of fun and excitement so feel free to ask about all the adventures you can take part in at this brilliant park! Inside and outside facilities are available and there is so much more to do to make the most of your day.

TUESDAY
Paignton Zoo: A fun packed day of adventure in and around the zoo with the animals! With over 2,000 animals across 80 acres – you’re in for a really wild time at Paignton Zoo. Located in Devon, Paignton Zoo is one of the South West’s most exciting visitor attractions. It’s a place to roam, discover and get in touch with your inner animal. Get up close to some of the animal wonders of the world across our specially designed habitats – from the savannah to the wetlands and the tropical forest. Run wild in our play areas or hop aboard our unique Jungle Express train to get even closer to the action. They are also a registered charity and part of a worldwide network of zoos which cares for and breeds rare species, thanks to visitors who help fund the work. Come rain or shine, Paignton Zoo is a fun filled day out for everyone, and you’ll need all day to see it all!

WEDNESDAY
Dartmouth Steam Train & River Cruise: A full day excursion! Steam & cruise is the perfect day out. We will travel on the steam railway from Paignton to Kingswear, then cross the River Dart on our foot passenger ferry to Dartmouth, where you board one of our boats for a circular river cruise (approximately 1 hour duration) around the river and estuary. The cruise takes you to the mouth of the river passing Kingswear & Dartmouth Castles, Dittisham village, Britannia Royal Naval College and Greenway House – home to the late Dame Agatha Christie. You should keep your eyes peeled for the varied wildlife that can be seen – Dolphins, Seals, Herons, Egrets, Buzzards and Kingsfisher, if you’re quick enough! Pick up a colouring in sheet in our Visitor Centre at Kingswear station. On your return to Dartmouth there’ll be time to look around, go shopping and have some lunch before going back to Kingswear for your return steam train ride to Paignton. Or if it suits, back to Kingswear for an earlier train to Paignton.

THURSDAY
Looe Monkey Sanctuary: The Monkey Sanctuary is home to 39 individuals; each one with their distinct characters and personalities. You will have the opportunity to meet some of our residents on your visit to us and we have experienced keepers on hand all day to explain all there is to know about these beautiful and fascinating animals and the work that goes into caring for them on a daily basis. This will be an all-day educational day, hands on with the monkeys and workshops. We will also be having cream tea in their lovey Tree Top Café on the hill.
